In late May, supermodel Miranda Kerr and billionaire Evan Spiegel officially got married after getting engaged — on Snapchat, of course — in 2016.
The couple wed in an intimate ceremony with around 50 family and friends (all models and important A-listers, of course) in the backyard of their home in Brentwood, California, according to E! News. In addition to pink roses and rustic tables, there was also reportedly karaoke, and TMZ captured audio of Kerr, 34, singing Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One” to her new 26-year-old husband.
Not much else was known about the wedding since the couple put a ban on social media, even Snapchat. Until now, that is — thanks to Vogue, we have an inside look at the couple’s wedding and Kerr’s dress.
The magazine was on hand for the model’s last dress fitting for her Dior Haute Couture gown by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the artistic director of Dio. The dress was inspired by Grace Kelly’s 1956 wedding dress and had numerous buttons on her sleeves and back as well as flowers on the satin skirt.
She also wore a specially designed headpiece made of white flowers to complement her conservative dress.
“A dress that fully covers you creates a sense of purity and mystery,” the former Victoria’s Secret Angel told Vogue. “I’ve had a lot of fun with fashion, and I used to be more wild, free, bohemian. But in this period of my life, my style is more pulled back.”
