Toronto FC defender Nick Hagglund left Saturday’s game in the 18th minute against the Portland Timbers with an apparent leg injury. He was replaced by Jason Hernandez.
Hagglund appeared to grab his leg after attempting a tackle. The 24-year-old suffered a knee injury in May and was making just his second start since returning to full fitness.
The defender has made 15 appearances, 13 of them starts, in 2017 for TFC.
