OAKLAND – The Warriors lead the league in ejections (nine) and are third in technical fouls (46). Steve Kerr would like to change those stats.
“I think we all need to do a much better job of staying poised,” Kerr said before the Warriors hosted the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. “I don’t like the look of the constant complaining, myself included.”

Draymond Green leads the league in technical fouls (13) and Kevin Durant is tied for the second-most with 11. Durant also leads the league in ejections (four), while Green has three. Kerr is tied for the fourth-most technical fouls (five) among the league’s coaches.
Kerr said he’s not sure if the Warriors are developing a reputation as complainers, but he said he wouldn’t be surprised if that were true.
“We probably deserve one,” Kerr said. “We’ve got that going for us. If we have that reputation, then we’re earning it. The main thing is just getting back to how we know how to play.”
