Andrej Sekera has been placed on Injured Reserve, Coach McLellan announces following this morning's #Oilers practice. — Edmonton Oilers (@EdmontonOilers) February 14, 2018 Sekera took a puck to the face during Edmonton’s loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Feb. 9. SAN JOSE — A female technology startup founder filed a lawsuit Wednesday against a Silicon Valley-based venture capitalist for alleged sexual assault on an overnight flight from San Francisco to Minneapolis. 49ers centre Daniel Kilgore receives three-year extension

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has his man to snap the ball for the next several seasons after centre Daniel Kilgore received a three-year contract extension. The team announced the deal Wednesday that takes Kilgore through the 2020 season. Last week, Garoppolo signed a $137.5 million, five-year contract. Niners general manager John Lynch says it was important to reach a deal with Kilgrore ahead of the free agency period. The 30-year-old Kilgore started a career-high 17 games last season. Warriors guard McCaw out at least 4 weeks with wrist injury

OAKLAND, Calif. — Second-year Warriors guard Patrick McCaw will miss at least four weeks after breaking a bone in his left wrist Monday night against the Suns. Golden State announced that McCaw had a non-displaced fracture in the wrist. The Warriors were playing Wednesday at Portland to conclude the schedule before the All-Star break. McCaw will wear a cast for 10 days then be re-evaluated in four weeks. Last weekend, McCaw bounced between Golden State and the G League Santa Cruz Warriors to get more playing time.
