Meet Jacques Pepin, get a cookbook signed by him and sample some of his recipes when the renowned chef makes an appearance Thursday, April 19, in Oakland.
The free event will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Rockridge Market Hall. That evening, Pepin will head for the North Bay for a dinner and book signing at Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur. Roland Passot will oversee the menu; the $145 cost includes dinner, wine and a signed cookbook Details: www.leftbank.com.
