SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz made two moves to the team’s roster on Thursday night, signing forward Juwan Morgan and releasing forward Stanton Kidd.

Morgan is a 6-8, 232-pound forward that played college basketball for Indiana. Morgan has been called up from the Salt Lake City Stars, the Jazz’s NBA G-League affiliate. In five games with the Stars this year, Morgan has averaged 15.6 points, 2.2 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.8 blocks. Morgan played in two preseason games for the Jazz, averaging 7 points.

The team waived forward Stanton Kidd to make room for Morgan. Kidd appeared in three games for the Jazz this year in 15 total minutes. He did not score in those minutes and had a total of three rebounds and one assist.
