Scott Disick on Younes Bendjima: I Freakin’ Hate That Guy!

It’s been four years since Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick ended their relationship, but the exes are still very involved in one another’s lives. This is mainly due to the fact that they’re raising three kids together and continue to co-star on a reality show, but those aren’t the only reasons Kourt and Scott have remained so close. Disick and Kardashian still regard one another with mutual respect and affection, and while it’s great that their kids don’t have to deal with bickering parents, this unusual closeness can create problems of its own. For example, when Scott started dating Sofia Richie, Kourtney reportedly disapproved of the relationship. This wasn’t a… Read More

Instagram Is Changing How Blocking Works

Update: Restrict, Instagram’s newest feature meant to combat online bullying on the platform, is officially live. It lets users restrict certain accounts so that the comments made by these accounts are only visible the commenters — and not the recipients of the comments or other users, unless approved by the recipient first. Restricted users also can’t see when you’re online or if you’ve read their DMs, the latter of which will automatically becomes Message Requests instead of going to the recipient’s inbox. So the restricted account won’t know it has been restricted. To enable the tool, you can swipe left on a comment, go to the profile of the account… Read More

Microsoft Surface Pro X and Surface Pro 7 hands-on: It’s ARM vs. Intel

Photo by Amelia Holowaty Krales / The Verge Microsoft is launching not one, but two Surface Pro devices this year. There’s a successor to the regular Surface Pro line, the Surface Pro 7, and then there’s the new Surface Pro X. It looks a lot like the Surface Pro 7 from a distance, but there are some subtle design changes that mean it has a bigger 13-inch display inside a 12-inch chassis that’s thinner and lighter than the Surface Pro we’re used to. It also has a new ARM-based Surface SQ1 processor inside, a chip that has been co-engineered between Microsoft and Qualcomm. I got to spend some time with… Read More

Why Justin Timberlake didn’t star in The Death of Dick Long

Photo: A24 The Death of Dick Long isn’t exactly what viewers might expect, judging from the mild innuendo of the title and the trailer portraying it as a comedically dark disaster about a boys’ night out that goes wrong. It’s also not necessarily what viewers might expect based on its creators, director Daniel Scheinert and his longtime friend and collaborator, screenwriter Billy Chew. As half of the writing-directing team Daniels, Scheinert has been involved in a lot of giddy mayhem, from colorful music videos (most notably for Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What”) to bizarre, exciting short films. They’ve created complicated experiments in interactive cinema, and they made their feature-film… Read More
