Conor McGregor is now aware of who Draymond Green is, only because of their supposed feud on Instagram last month.
McGregor dismissed the idea that he was actually battling with the Warriors star forward in an interview with Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com posted Friday. McGregor claimed he did not mean to engage in a social media trash-talking session with Green (which some people may not be buying).

“Actually, I didn’t even engage in it,” McGregor told Helwani in a video mainly about the fighter’s thoughts on Mayweather ahead of their Aug. 26 boxing match. “I had it, and I was there, and I wore it to training one day. And then it ended up on some video or something. And then some guy that wears the jersey reached out. And it was like, ‘Mate, I don’t even know who the (expletive) you are, I don’t know anything about basketball.’
“It just went everywhere. And they say that guy is (expletive) sick. And they said Floyd wanted to smack him as well, so that worked out good for me.”
