Now that the Seahawks have their nine 2022 NFL Draft picks set, we’re breaking them down.

A close look at all nine Seahawks draft picks

We’ve got former NFL wide receiver Michael Bumpus, a Seahawks analyst and regular contributor to Seattle Sports Station 710 AM, doing exactly that in a new video series on our YouTube channel. In the second installment, Bump covers two players that are garnering a lot of attention after the draft: offensive tackles Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas.

Cross was Seattle’s top draft pick, coming to the Seahawks with the No. 9 overall selection from head coach Mike Leach’s Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Lucas, an Everett native who went to Seattle in the third round, has something in common with Cross in that he also played in Leach’s Air Raid offense at WSU.

In the video, Bumpus (who is also a WSU product) breaks down what the Seahawks see in their new tackles and why they can succeed in a more run-heavy offense in Seattle than what they played in during their college days.
