“Thirteen Lives,” starring Viggo Mortensen and Colin Farrell, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
The movie is based on true events and follows rescue divers who attempt to save thirteen people trapped in a cave.

Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell, and Joel Edgerton star as members of the diving team tasked with rescuing twelve children and their soccer coach when a monsoon traps them inside the Tham Luang cave system in Thailand. The film also stars Nophand Boonyai, Paul Gleeson, and Tom Bateman.

“Thirteen Lives” is directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Ron Howard (“A Beautiful Mind”). Howard is known for directing other tales of survival, including “Backdraft,” “In the Heart of the Sea,” and “Apollo 13.”
As of August 5, “Thirteen Lives” holds an “89% Certified Fresh” ranking on review-aggregator Rotten Tomatoes based on 98 critic reviews.
